Research at institutions of higher education has become multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary efforts that involve university, industry, and government partners. Communication and collaboration is central to success and cannot be bound by the location of participants.
Iowa State University, through its Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) unit, facilitates large and small virtual meetings and collaborations for colleges, departments, research centers, and student organizations and the university community at-large.
Our experiences have helped us adopt new technology, leverage what we've learned from online course delivery, and apply these new collaborative technologies to better serve our stakeholders. In order for this service to become sustainable independently of CELT credit operations, a fee-for-service has been implemented.
Collaborative Technology Services (CTS) has been formed to serve this growing need and our mission is to support our customers through technologies and environments that connect people.
